The College has already developed ornamental nursery, orchards, vegetable fields, net house, low cost polyhouse and a transgenic green house. These all cater to practical training for students and research requirement for all the departments centrally. Newly developed farm area is planted with different horticultural crops to develop it into a model orchard. The college has completed 12 externally funded research projects so far since inception. At present 19 externally funded research projects are in progress including 07 numbers of All India Co-ordinated Research Projects and 03 numbers of All India Network Projects in horticulture, forestry and its allied subjects funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The college is also running 04 numbers of project funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, New Delhi, two numbers of project funded by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi, 01 project funded by ICAR Under Technology Mission in Horticulture, 01 project funded by NABARD, Mumbai and 01 project funded by Syngenta India Limited, Pune. A good number of intramural project funded by CAU, Imphal are also in progress.
